  19. So this life thing,

There seriously is more to it then money. I never realized how oriented it was on that until I came to college. Throughout highschool they want us to choose a major, and they tell us to pick what we will like to do in life, but it’s also on the market, what makes the most money, or a decent amount someone would say is comfortable. But what is comfortable? Like those jobs that put you into cubicles, which aren’t bad, I’m not saying that exactly, but what if you don’t like that job, but it’s giving you a lot of money? Would you rather go to work 40 hours a week, dreading it, but make so much money, that buying things is easy? I’ve been thinking more recently I don’t think that seems so pleasing anymore. Even before I got to college, I’ve always had the theory and liking of earning what I got, which is the main reason I have an urge to gain income of some kind. I’ve always seen everything as progression, when you start a new game, you start out with basic gear. But with thinking, and your own way of doing things, you gain money to buy new armour, or even make it yourself. You go up the ladder, getting each piece, and cherishing each one. But lets say, you start the game, and you instantly have like one mil, and can buy the highest armour and wear it. Your done? There is nothing left to get really, of course there are alternatives like weapons but that’s not the point. What I am getting at is, life is about progression. If I have a job that I enjoy, where all my co workers are just chill as fuck, my boss is a bro, but I only get paid like $12 or so dollars an hour, that would be fine with me. And what if that’s just the beginning job? You can work up of course, there is that progression thing, see you’re getting it! Life is more then money, this is what I am trying to say. I hate my college right now, but they say it’s a great learning place, I’m not wasting my money at this place for better research or whatever. I’m going to put my place where I need to be happy. Life is about experience, enjoying the small things, doing activities, not all activities require money, or even if not a lot of it. And if you have friends putting together your money to do something is always great. That’s another thing, if you have all the money in the world, you won’t ever have any stories of out smarting the system and getting what you really wanted with little money. Life is about happiness, because you only live through each day once, you should enjoy that day, and every day for that matter. I stand firm in this new revelation, and I see it playing out great for me. Call me a dumbass if you will, but this I believe is the best way to enjoy what you have, you can listen or not, I’m just typing stuff.

    Cheers~
